There is always a bit of lore that we know about the forts.
Like this one sits in Rhudaur, which fell first to the Witch-King. So that fort probably got besieged and destroyed.

Well, actually, Rhudaur fell because it allied Angmar and was later annexed, so it was probably not besieged, at least not until the fall of Angmar.
