Launcher acting up

I don’t know if this has been already covered somewhere, but i’ll post it anyway.

**what operating system are you using? Windows 10
**how did you install the modpack? Launcher
**have you installed Java 8? Yes sir
**when does the problem happen? When i’m launching the game.

problem: Launcher keeps crashing once I start it up, I’ve tried reinstalling it completely and what not but doesn’t seem to be working.

This exit code is pretty weird (it’s usually 1 or 0), but there isn’t anything obvious in the log that suggests why the launch process should end so abruptly.

Could you see if you have a crash report somewhere in:
C:\Users\Playtech\Documents\ArdaCraft Launcher\instances\ArdaCraft Modpack\minecraft\

So it looks like there is a problem occurring as the resourcepack updater tries to delete temporary download files.

Not 100% sure why it’s failing to do this. For now, if you install the latest blockpacks and resourcepack manually then it should skip the update process entirely.

  1. Delete the ‘temp’ folder if it exists:
    C:\Users\Playtech\Documents\ArdaCraft Launcher\instances\ArdaCraft Modpack\minecraft\temp\
  2. Download the blockpacks and place in:
    C:\Users\Playtech\Documents\ArdaCraft Launcher\instances\ArdaCraft Modpack\minecraft\blockpacks\
  3. Download the resourcepack and place in:
    C:\Users\Playtech\Documents\ArdaCraft Launcher\instances\ArdaCraft Modpack\minecraft\resourcepacks\
