If we go by this tolkien drawing as inspiration, we can find that circular, multi-level (almost Ziggarut-like) buildings that mainly have cone roofs, in blue and red rooftiles. There is an other example in the back, that seems to be plastered(?) yellow. There is an other drawing, in which even the tower of Ecthelion seems ziggarut-like in style.
Is that an onion dome roof?
The region tuscany (Italy) fits really well to Gondor, espiecally for the parts near the white mountains
“They get to the fenced camp in a dense wood of trees” Draft of the TT about the camp of the Ithilien rangers.
Cool tower but maybe more fitting for umbar or Harad?
Nah, i think it would fit very well for Gondor, especially if it was made of a less “sandy” stone colour. If one replaced the Stone dome and made it from ceramics, it would fit even more.
Epic!
Anfushi tombs in Alexandria - mix of Roman Greek and Egyptian styles
These are mainly roman houses from the northern provinces near the rhine. I think it would be good to to make the northern provinces of Gondor similar to the northern provinces of rome. While the provinces near the sea should be more similar to the mediterranean style
