Before Posting:

Java 8 is required to run our modpack. Not having it will cause you to crash on launch.
Mac OS, Windows, and Linux users can download the Java 8 installer for their system from here.

how did you install the modpack?: I used the launcher
have you installed Java 8?: Yes
when does the problem happen?: During the launch

problem: I think it’s something with the memory but I’m not sure. I downloaded the Laucher and log in but when I do it crashes and gives an error, I’m guessing it has to do something with java or my memory settings

Make sure you’re using 64bit Java 8, and that your computer has enough free memory to run the game with 2GB of ram

The crash report provides very little information, if installing 64bit java doesn’t help, please tell us:

  • your operating system
  • how much ram your computer has
  • specifically which version of Java 8 have you installed

I had a look on Java’s site and I had a wrong version of java 8 installed, I instelled a new version and It’s all ok now, thanks.
