Client outdated?

what operating system are you using?: mac os
how did you install the modpack?: ArdaCraft Launcher
have you installed Java 8?: yes
when does the problem happen?: connecting to the server
problem:
The modpack seems to work fine but when I click Realms, “Your client is outdated and not compatible with Realms. Please update to the most recent version of Minecraft.” I’ve only just updated minecraft so I’m not sure what the issue is?

Please excuse me if this is a stupid question - I’m new, absolutely useless with computers and just want to check out the server!

Well, it simply means you can’t play realms in this version of Minecraft. Our launcher is meant for our own server, of which the IP is mc.ardacraft.me.

Oh god sorry, I literally saw realms and figured “realms of Arda”. Really not Minecraft savvy. Thanks for replying!
