How did you find out about us: Saw a Youtube video of the server a while back.

How old are you?: 14, almost 15.

Where are you from?: The Netherlands

Are you in our Discord? Do you understand that you must have Discord running at all times when at your computer, and that you must check the forums every few days?: Yes.

Why do you want to help with this project?: I love building everything related to Tolkien. This is just the best server for it. When I saw the builds on the server I was straight away in love with it. That made me want to apply for this server .

Which Tolkien-related works have you read, seen or listened to?: I read The Hobbit, Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, Return of the King, The Silmarillion, the Children of Hùrin and some chapters of the History of Middle Earth. I have also seen all the movies.

Plot ID: 7:-12

Are there any styles that you excel at? Any styles which you have difficulty with?: I am good in building terrain and building Gondorian builds. Organics can be hard sometimes though.

Other relevant skills: I know how to use Voxel Sniper.

Hey there, nice app! Speaking of what concerns me, your Lorien house needs a bit of work. Don’t worry, it’absolutely understandable if it’s your first attempt with it. I’d suggest you to work on the roof shape: try to make it a bit steeper and give it a smooth shape on the sides, avoid straight lines of blocks. Try to reduce the use of walls as well, keep it as open as possible. I’m sure it’ll look great once these fixes are done. Have fun!

just some minor tips on rohan. Because its a simple style, it can be a challenge to make houses looked lived in without using certain blocks. Be sure to look at multiple interiors. Stay away from glass, paper (like those playing cards) and most premade cabinets, wardrobes, cupboards. Looks like for the most part you have, but its the smallest details that can take your builds to the next level. Keep up the good work.

We’ll need to break you of the three block, pillar, three block, pillar grid habbits.

Yeah, what Hearth said. Try a new Lorien house - you don’t have to do an interior for it.

If he said so, then there’s indeed no need for it.

That looks better! You still can improve a lot but your lothlorien house is good enough for apprentice in my opinion :ok_hand:

I agree with Mr. Banana. There’s always more to learn, but you have certainly improved a lot and are ready for the Apprentice rank.

Being an Apprentice means you are a part of the project, but not a full Builder yet. You have this rank so you can learn and understand how we build. We have high standards and a focus on realism which means that there are things for you to learn.

Your duties as an Apprentice should give you good grounding to become a Builder, and, as such, you will begin your first lot of on-server building work assisting current Builders on their builds. This will hopefully allow you to obtain the experience needed to build on your own when you feel you can start on building something on your own.

When building as an Apprentice, you are only permitted to build on one building at a time. This not only provides you with good practice for your time as a Builder, but also allows project leaders and Overseers to get a good and clear idea of what your building abilities are. This will allow us to give you better and more bespoke feedback, and prevent any unnecessary problems.

Finally, as an Apprentice you must always listen to project leaders when they give you feedback, criticisms, and tasks. Ask them if you are unsure of what to build, or how to build it. You have this rank to learn.

Keep up the good work!
