Of course, the buildings won’t be abandoned, just using this image for the surrounding area and style.
This is not a brand new homestead, just a revamp of an old one.
So I’ve added a few bits to the Shire Revamp thread to guide you, and copied your homstead to freebuild near /warp SFHPlanning. Not your fault. I just jumped the gun with announcing homesteads were open a bit. 
OK, new plan.
Turns out there is another smial to the right I didn’t know was part of my homestead, so that means the new estimated population is 8.
If you turn the butcher 90 degrees clockwise, just so there’s not too narrow a gap between it and the chicken, I think the buildings will flow better around the yard.
Other than that, have at it.

Oh, and put a proper road in rather than the dirt track that’s currently there.
Homestead is done and ready for approval.

With very minor alterations being done tomorrow, I’m happy to call this project complete.
