The mine looks good creepy, but can you just fix there being debris in the houses, it looks a bit too large to have been bought in from the mines, and makes the houses look a little rough. Then its just a case of waiting for all of the Dwarven paintings to be added in so you can add them to houses. Great work though!

Fornad asked me to do one final check on MineB to see if it’s ready to be approved.
And while at a glance it all seems very much done, i must say that i did find a bunch of stuff in the finer details that held me back on approving it, of which some are basic design things and the way some blocks are used, and other are simply missing blocks.
The main thing so far is that you have all the time you need to experiment and use the new blocks (vertical slabs and everything) but just skipped them all together it seems almost.

Some images (sorry for how dark it is):

Call this nitpicking, but these two walls are supposed to be the exact same, it’s a bit sloppy to see that some minor details are forgotten while building the walls. Easily fixed tho, i’ve already fixed plenty of em for you, but to be sure we should check for more.

This house facade is pretty dull, i understand it’s very low-class, but you could still make it look better in my opinion, for example on how far the pillar goes up, it just threw me off.
This is how i edited it:

Here too, the doorway looks a bit odd.

Improved the look and detail of it, also using some of the new blocks that greatly help there:

And finally, i’ve given the street here more room using the vertical slabs, it looks a lot nicer now (the street at this part was 1 block wide at it’s narrowest before i edited it).

These are just a few examples, sure they are very minor details overall, but there are so many of them that it makes the build look not as polished as it should be.

If Fornad agrees with me then i’d like to see more improvements and polishing throughout MineB’s designs before finally approving it.

EDIT: Since i’ll have 4 days off from work, i can finally properly work together with you other than just giving advice now and then. Let’s polish this settlement up and approve it!

Nice to hear, I am on this afternoon and evening.
And maybe now.

Guan, Aptipild, Ruben, Ytsen, Wheellee and I came to the conclusion that MineB is done (this time is it true :relieved:) Thank you for giving me a chance to build it.

A few of us had a look round Mine B last night and I think I speak all of us when I say that it is in need of a bit of a revamp. Reciting what Guan said, the mine was used as a way to introduce some of the less experienced builders to the dwarven style and in this regard it is has proved very effective; the latest couple of mines completed have been very good. However, I think that creep you will agree that you could go back and bring this mine up to standard with the rest of the mines. Let me know what you think.
